38,000 Square Foot Florida Mansion

Although this estate is no longer here today, it is still a very interesting residence to look at. Once owned by Coca-Cola heir Michael Bird, this 38,000 square foot mediterranean mansion was one of a kind. Originally designed by Mark Timothy, the property was on about 2 1/2 acres and had 360 feet of oceanfront with panoramic views of the ocean. The house was eventually demolished and replaced with 3 smaller mansions. Since the house would be demolished anyway, it was used as the set of the movie Bad Boys 2 where they imitated an explosion. They added fake walls, lightweight windows, and other things for a controlled fire to simulate a realistic explosion. The property is located at 1105 S. Ocean Boulevard in Delray Beach, Florida. 1. This house would be very expensive if it were still standing today. The price differs depending on the exact location in Florida, but here are some other mansions in Florida that you can use to compare to this one. I would think this mansion would sell for $10-20 million.

This one is very similar to the one mentioned above -
